Hey! I'm Trish...and this space is where I share all things baking: from sweet to savory, and everything in between. I am a software engineer by trade, but now spend most of my time raising our two kids and rearranging the furniture in our house during my spare time.
I am a self-taught cook...I am good with cooking but was the worst in baking. Crossing out one of the things in my bucket list, I enrolled myself in culinary school for pastry arts.
Now I realized that baking is a highly learnable skill, you don't need a "baking gene", or a mom or a grandmother who is good at it (if you have one though, you're so lucky!❤️). I also realized that you don't have to go to culinary school to learn it...you just need to know the important basics and lots of practice and patience.
